Terms of Use
Last updated 26 October 2026
Please read these terms carefully. They explain your rights and responsibilities when you learn, subscribe, teach or request certificates on iHarande.
1. Agreement
These terms apply to your use of iHarande on iharande.com and in the iHarande mobile apps (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Your account
- Give accurate information and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- One person per account. Student accounts can be signed in on a limited number of devices at a time; signing in on a new device may sign out an older one.
- If you are under 18, use the Service with the consent of a parent or guardian.
- You can delete your account at any time as described in the Privacy Policy.
3. Courses and content
Free courses are open to every signed-in learner. Premium courses need an active subscription or trial. Course material belongs to iHarande or its instructors and is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial learning while you have access. Do not copy, download outside the features we provide, resell, share your account or republish course material.
4. Free trial and subscriptions
- The free trial gives full premium access for 24 hours, once per account, without a card.
- Card subscriptions (Monthly or Annual) renew automatically at the end of each period and are charged to your card by Paystack until you turn auto-renewal off. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- Bank transfer payments buy one period and do not renew. Paying again before the period ends adds a new period on top of the time you have left.
- Plan changes take effect at your next renewal date. Prices are shown in naira before you pay and may change for future periods; we will tell you before a change applies to you.
- If a renewal payment fails, you have a short grace period to update your card or pay another way before your account returns to the free plan.
5. Payments and refunds
Payments are processed securely by Paystack. Fees for subscription periods and certificates are generally non-refundable once the period has started or the certificate process has begun, except where the law requires a refund. If you think you were charged in error, email support@iharande.com within 14 days and we will look into it.
6. Certificates
After completing a course you can request a certificate. Certificates may require a fee and an online exam, and are issued after review. Each certificate has a code that anyone can use to verify it. We may refuse or revoke a certificate obtained through cheating, false information or misuse of the Service.
7. Instructors
Instructor accounts are approved by iHarande. Instructors must own or have permission to use everything they upload, keep course information accurate, and follow these terms. Courses are reviewed before they are published, and we may unpublish content that breaks these terms.
8. Acceptable use
When using the Service, including course discussions, you agree not to:
- post anything unlawful, abusive, hateful, misleading or that infringes someone else's rights;
- share your account, or try to get around payment, device limits or other access controls;
- interfere with the Service, scrape it, or try to access accounts or data that are not yours;
- use the Service to send spam or advertising.
We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available and accurate, but it is provided "as is" and may sometimes be interrupted for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We may change, add or remove courses and features. We may update these terms; the new version will be posted here with a new date, and continuing to use the Service means you accept it.
10. Liability
To the extent the law allows, iHarande is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the Nigerian courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
